So long, farewell, auf wiedersehen, goodnight

Governor Palin is stepping down, she is quitting. Whatever her reasons may be, I just hope that she will find the peace she is looking for. She just wants the media and all of those mean critics of hers to leave her and her family alone. While I will agree that a public figure's family should never be punished for that person's desire for fame, attention and power, she put them all in that position by seeking a higher office and thrusting the rest of them into the limelight. So, let's do what she asks, let's leave them alone and just all hope that Sarah Palin fades into the shadows and obscurity of history. A page that we can all hopefully turn and forget about. So, to Governor Palin, so long, farewell, auf wiedersehen, goodnight. May you have a happy and un-media filled life far, far away from the public eye and public office deep in the heart of Alaska!
