Planes, trains, Broadway and blisters

So I am here sitting at JFK airport. I <3 NYC is an understatement. A big ole understatement. It has been so amazing here. I spent Monday - Thursday out on Long Island, Port Washington to be more specific for work. And It is beautiful and quaint and cute and everything there. I was fully expecting to see Andy Griffiths sitting there eating one of Aunt Bea's pies. I think I could totally live in a cute little town like that where you only have a 30-45 minute train ride right into downtown NYC.

Roommate and I then spent all day Friday and Saturday wandering this great city. It was a great two days. I had just an amazing time. I could ramble and ramble and ramble about it all. But instead I'll just post a few highlights:

- Figuring out the subway system...still not a master, but moving past the apprentice stage into journeyman.

- Blisters...next NYC trip, I'll be starting a training regimine a few weeks before to get into shape for all the walking.

- Time Square...I love the lawn chairs in the streets.

- Broadway...wow!

- 9 to 5: The Musical! I highly, highly, highly recommend it!

- Getting to meet my idol! Allison Janney, I loved you as C.J. Cregg, I loved you as Violet Newstead, and now, I love you in person. She is stunning, statuesque, beautiful and so incredibly nice and made me feel like I was the most important thing in the world for the few brief moments I got to talk with her!

- Central Park.

- Walking everywhere.

- Walking over the Brooklyn Bridge.

There was just so much and maybe I'll get to more detail through out the week, but I just wanted to get this up, since I know you've all been just missing me terrible!
